In this season of Trick-or-Treat, you may be dealing with some form of FEAR

FEAR is paralyzing; it keeps us from taking risks because we fear making mistakes. Our mind goes through a series of “What-ifs”:

What if this happens?

What if this does not happen?

What if  I fail?

These questions are always on our minds.

This week, let’s try something different!

You know how we talk to our friends when they are worried? We make them look at the situation in a positive way. Let’s try doing this for ourselves and talk as if we are talking to a friend. You will see how your brain gets tricked into doing what you once thought impossible.

Most of the things in life are how we choose to look at them. Life is about how we perceive it. If we convince our brain through positive self-talk then we will achieve much more than we can ever imagine.

Let’s choose to perceive FEAR as a calling to take a risk. Every time you accept your FEAR and take the risk, you choose to step out of your comfort zone. This is a win. When you feel FEARFUL, it is a sign that you are going to do something beyond the ordinary. If you do not answer your FEARS, you push yourself into doing the same ordinary things.

So, the next time you feel the FEAR, take a deep breath, think positively about the situation, feel the FEAR and do it anyway. It is then that you will be able to FEARLESSLY move toward your desired destination.

Treat yourself to a BOO-TIFUL week!
