Like many countries worldwide, we use this day to thank the people in our lives, the opportunities we\u2019ve been given, and the things we have. But let\u2019s keep in mind, however, that just like how different countries celebrate on different days, there isn\u2019t only one day for us to reflect and give thanks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>An excellent place to start is by reflecting on what you\u2019ve accomplished so far and giving thanks to the people who helped get you there. What are you most proud of? Is there anything that you thought was out of reach that you did manage to achieve? What goals have you set for yourself, and how many of them have you accomplished or made significant progress on?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Journaling<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the perfect time to take out your<a href=\"https:\/\/greatergood.berkeley.edu\/article\/item\/how_journaling_can_help_you_in_hard_times\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/greatergood.berkeley.edu\/article\/item\/how_journaling_can_help_you_in_hard_times\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> journal and review your goals for this year.<\/a> Keeping track of the progress you\u2019re making not only keeps you on track and gives you a clear focus on what you need to do but also gives you a better understanding of when you will complete something.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Read back through the entries that you\u2019ve been making throughout the year. Remind yourself of the progress you\u2019ve been making and if you haven\u2019t been doing so already, take some time to celebrate your accomplishments. Giving thanks to yourself is just as important as giving thanks to others. Even the small things are worth celebrating.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">People&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Take some time to thank the people who have been there for you during your successful journey. <a href=\"https:\/\/achievepotential.ca\/holistic-success-5-life-areas-where-success-matters\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/achievepotential.ca\/holistic-success-5-life-areas-where-success-matters\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">So many times, these blogs have said it<\/a>, but we are not an island. We are social creatures, and we need the help of others to achieve our goals.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Reach out to the members of your success squad and thank them.
